Well, I'm off to climb Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states of the U of S of A. Going to spend two days hiking around and acclimating to the altitude, then at midnight going to start the 11 mile, 6000 ft elevation gain climb. I've been scouring my camera's manual to find Whitebalance and Panorama modes. Expect lots of pictures of granite starting next week Hopefully I'll find some "Sky Pilot" (a high altitude flower) as well as a furry marmot to take a picture of.
